New Burrito Bar to Love: Housemade, Organic, Delicious




Want homemade, delicious food but don’t have time to cook? Us too. That’s why our Minnetonka store opened a Sandwich and Burrito bar, made with Minnesota heritage pork, local beef, housemade sauces and more.

“The Barbacoa takes 36 hours of marinating in a traditional guajillo chile marinade,” says Lakewinds Manager of Deli Operations Lisa Kollodge, the chef and mastermind behind the recipes. “We don’t skimp on the process! You have to go through it to get amazing flavor.”

From sweet-and-spicy chicken tinga to housemade giardiniera, our sandwich and burrito bar has a variety of chef-created sandwiches, burritos, tacos and bowls. All of the ingredients follow our high quality standards so you can trust what’s in your bowl. Highlights from the menu include:

  • Housemade radish salsa. More than one customer has exclaimed, “Wow! What is that?”
  • TC Pork Carnitas – braised, fried in its own fat and put back into its juices before shredding.
  • Housemade roasted poblano pepper crema. You’ll want to lick your compostable bowl!
  • Banh Mi sandwich with housemade pickled vegetables.
  • Organic vegetable Mediterranean pita with housemade vegan tzatziki – all of the flavor without any dairy.
