So Green. So Good.

We could talk your ear off for hours about the goodness of green foods. To save your hours (and ears) we captured our fast favorites:

Matcha Muffins

Matcha is a fine green tea powder that provides tons of clean energy without the jitters. We are big fans of this recipe for a quick breakfast (we aren’t kidding, any later in the day and you might be up all night) grab and go option. We love them with Kerrygold Irish butter and a topping of honey.

Shamrock Smoothie

We like to be transparent about what’s in our shopper favorite seasonal smoothie. Only seven natural, organic ingredients (that are always listed out in stores—no hidden additives) and a gorgeous green pop of color to liven up your day. Our straws are also green—pure coincidence. Now at Lakewinds stores through March (top secret: you can ask for it year round, wink).

Juice So Good – Happy Green

Pure joy in a bottle with 100% cold pressed juice. Think you hate juicing? Try again. This light blend uses mint and lime to ultimately distract from the kale and cucumber goodness. Sold in our refrigerated juice section and made with love. (Another pro-tip, these power juices are $1 off until March 21st, 2017.)

Wheat Grass Shots

At first sip it’s very sweet with a green grassy kick as you swallow. Optimal chasers are sweet fruit juice (just ask the deli) or water. One shot for $1.99 or $3.99 for a double. There are hundreds of wheatgrass benefits but here are our top 50.

Spirulina

A natural powdered algae that is high in protein and full of antioxidants, B-vitamins and commonly known as the most nutrient dense food on the planet. Can be taken in a capsule, added to water, or mixed with your favorite smoothie or chia bowl. Take as little or as much as you want—We sell a powder form in our bulk section. Benefits are extreme but we won’t lie about the strong algae taste that comes with it.

Vegan Green Goddess Dressing

A creamy avocado spread with a smooth, clean taste. Excellent as a salad dressing, veggie dip, on bread, to top a grain or burrito bowl or for an updated twist on avocado toast.
