These crumbly treats are flavored with peanut butter and banana for a delectable dessert fit for any occasion.
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Lightly grease a metal 8×8 baking dish. In a mixing bowl, mix together the brown sugar, peanut butter, vanilla, and oil until combined. Then lightly mix in the flour, salt, and baking powder.
Once you get the flour lightly mixed in, knead the dough until soft. It will be very very thick and won’t spread on its own. Transfer the dough to a baking pan and press it into place using a rubber spatula. If using, sprinkle and gently press the peanuts over the top.
Bake for 22 to 25 minutes, until the edges are just turning brown but the top still appears soft. Remove from oven and cool completely before slicing.
