In a large skillet heat butter over medium heat. Add onion and garlic; season with a bit of salt and pepper and sauté 5 minutes. Add chicken, cream, ½ cup Parmesan and lemon juice.
Stir to combine and bring to a boil, simmer for 5 more minutes. Add spinach and stir until just wilting. Taste and season with more salt and pepper.
Cook pasta according to package directions. Add to a large bowl and top with chicken mixture.
Garnish with additional Parmesan cheese and fresh basil.
