This salsa uses frozen mangoes, so it’s easy to make throughout the year, whether or not mangoes are in season. Its sweet-and-spicy flavors are delicious served as is with your favorite corn chip or on top of chicken or fish. This recipe comes from the Lakewinds deli. They don't make it anymore, so we're sharing it with you!
Cut the frozen mango chucks into smaller cubes and add to a medium glass bowl. Add the green onion, cilantro, jalapeno, and red bell pepper. Set aside.
Whisk together the agave nectar, chili pasta, and lime juice in a small bowl. Pour it over the mango mixture and mix well. Cover and refrigerate at least one hour to give the mango time to thaw and for the flavors to marry.
